Grow and Flourish in the Lord ~ WFW

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord,
you must continue to live in obedience to Him.
Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him,
so you will grow in faith, strong, and vigorous in the truth you were taught.
Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for all He has done.

Colossians 2:6-7

  1. Beautiful and amen! May those roots go down deeper and deeper into God's soil. Blessings your way today. Hope you are well. Haven't stopped by in a while but always remember how blessed I am by God's presence on this page.

    Have a great WFW!

  2. I just love the imagery in the scriptures. As we feed upon Him, we become stronger and less likely to be blown away by the trouble life brings. May your Wednesday and the rest of the week be filled with His presence.

  3. You know this just really speaks to me today...I've been walking in obedience and getting those roots DEEP! The only way to do that is in continual and contending prayer...LOVE it Mr. Oldman! So glad you've joined us today!

  4. I love this picture and truth. It encouraged me today.
